Since July, the Millbrook Farm Supply has been directing donations from bottle returns to a variety of local causes. The community has embraced this effort, and the recipients have been very appreciative.
Millbrook Community Care was the first beneficiary, receiving $1050 this summer. Donations were next directed to two local youths battling cancer, who received a total of $4100. This month donations have been collected on behalf of Millbrook Food share. As of October 23rd, the tally is $2500. During the month of November, donations will be directed to the Millbrook Legion. Thanks to Angela and Michelle at Millbrook Farm Supply and all of the individuals who have donated the proceeds of their bottle returns. The aftermath of drinking never felt so good! KG
