I have enjoyed being the Millbrook Ward councillor for the last term of council. It has been my privilege and an incredible experience serving the great people of Millbrook and Cavan Monaghan. I am very much looking forward to continuing in this role through the next term.
Over the last 4 years I worked in collaboration with community, staff, individuals, consultants, boards and other councillors to put projects and programs in place to better Millbrook and Cavan Monaghan. A great example of this collaboration is the Millbrook Dam Project. After decades of churning, is now mere months away from completion, with some cosmetic work to be finished in the spring
Over the next 4 years, as your representative on Council, I will continue to steward various programs like The Community Improvement Plan (CIP), which has recently been adopted by Council. I am very much looking forward to seeing the businesses and landlords of downtown Millbrook make use of the CIP.
It is imperative that a functioning Council is respectful to one another, and is open to all Councillors’ ideas and thoughts, even if they are not always in agreement. I have and will continue to work with the other councillors to make sure all issues are professionally and efficiently seen through to resolution.
I am thrilled that I have been entrusted to once again represent the people of Millbrook. I will continue to make the best possible decisions on our behalf.
