This month Millbrook South Cavan has some exciting news to share! MSC is part of the Pathways To Stewardship and Kinship Project and has received two awards from them! This organization is a foundation for nurturing healthy and engaged children and youth. Mr. White and Mrs. Armstrong attended the awards ceremony at the Trent University Environment Centre on October 3rd, to accept the following awards on behalf of the school.
One award was for our school wide involvement with most classes participating in education opportunities!
The second award is for submitting the most Landmark activities to the Pathways website. Landmark activities are outdoor learning opportunities that have different outdoor learning games and experiments between different grades. It could be as simple as a walk around the community or trying a new sport.
