Blocks and Blooms Coming June 23rd

This garden located on Gravel Road will be on the upcoming Blocks and Blooms Tour next month.

It’s the Airing of the Quilts.  It’s a Garden Tour.  It’s a chance to see up close the heritage features of some of Millbrook’s beautifully preserved historic properties. Blocks and Blooms has it all!

Tickets go on sale at Bear Essentials and The Quilter’s Bolt in Millbrook on May 15 for Blocks and Blooms, the much anticipated special one-day event being held Saturday, June 23.

With the support of the Downtown Millbrook BIA and Nexicom, along with gifted area gardeners and accomplished and talented quilters, this promises to be a truly spectacular community event.

For just one day ticket holders will be free to stroll through a dozen distinctive gardens, admire up close the features of handsome heritage properties, and enjoy the beauty and artistry of both new and heirloom quilts on display along the event route.  There will also be a special exhibit of quilts in St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Centre Street, and lunch available in the church hall, as well, of course, at Millbrook’s restaurants and cafes.

Tickets will include a guide to all the features of the day.  The event is being organized by the Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society.
