Stacey Knight with a loyal customer in her new studio on King Street, where she showcases local art, hosts creative workshops and, of course, provides hair styling and colouring services.

Hair Stylist, artist and crafter Stacey Knight has opened a new retail outlet in the front section of the former Bear Essentials store in Millbrook.

Calling her new enterprise Blank Canvas Hair & Art Studio, Stacey plans to use the studio to combine her love of art, hair and style in this new venture.

The studio in the front is an art gallery featuring the work of local artists and artisans at accessible prices.  She will also host workshops where customers can explore their own creativity under the guidance of local creators sharing their talents with those seeking to explore their creative bent.

The venue also features a hair salon where Stacey demonstrates her talents as a stylist.  She began this career in response to the admiration of friends asking her to style their hair.  After a few years she took this seriously and has spent time in several Peterborough Hair Salons before deciding to launch out on her own.  She focuses on providing an exceptional guest experience and working with clients to explore and express their own individual style whether they seek a minor tweak or a transformation in colour and style.

Drop into this new studio to see how this new entrepreneur can help you explore your creative side in your personal style or home décor.  KG
