At the February meeting of the Millbrook & District Lions Club, two local service agencies were presented with donations: Community Care Millbrook & Millbrook & District Food Share.
Community Care programs offered include: Transportation, Meals on Wheels, Home Help and Maintenance, Friendly Visiting, Drop-In and Outreach, Information and Referral, Diner’s Clubs, Personal Distress Alarms, Telephone Reassurance Checks, Loan Cupboards and Medical Equipment Registry, Wellness and Health Clinics, Caremobile (accessible transportation).
Millbrook & District Food Share is local food bank for those in need. The Food Bank is open every second, third and fourth Tuesday of the month 3 to pm.
