Chambers of Commerce Launch Hometown Holiday Campaign

This holiday season is getting more local focus with the new Hometown Holiday campaign.

This new initiative is a joint partnership between the Havelock Chamber of Commerce, Millbrook & District Chamber of Commerce, Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, and the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce on behalf of all businesses in the City and County of Peterborough.

“Our community always has exceptional support for local businesses,” says Jillian Harrington, President of the Board of Directors for the Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. “As we approach the holiday season, we’re hoping this campaign serves as a reminder of what our community has to offer. We know it’s a great place to share time with those we love as we shop, dine, and enjoy. Wwe encourage you to invest in your hometown this holiday season.”

The Hometown Holiday campaign is hitting local radio, newspapers, television, digital and social media platforms with messages showcasing what our region has to offer this holiday season. This campaign has been created with the generous support, creativity, and leadership of Peterborough-based Outpost379.

The campaign will feature live radio remote events through the City and County of Peterborough. Drop by to enter a draw for a chance to win one of two Hometown Staycations, valued at $1,500 in the Kawarthas, thanks to Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism. Some restrictions apply.

The Hometown Holiday campaign, supported by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, support businesses as they reopen so they can stay open and thrive in recovery.

“Thank you to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us on this important initiative,” says Dianne Guzik, Millbrook Chamber’s Board President. “We’re investing in our local media, advertising and content agencies to create a meaningful impact for local businesses. A big thanks to Outpost379 for their vision and hard work in taking this campaign to the next level.” KG
