Local graphic novelist and illustrator Bill Slavin launched the second book in his dystopian post-apocalyptic Mordecai Crow Trilogy, Quid Pro Crow, at Peterborough’s Take Cover Books in East City on May 18. The book also made its appearance at this year’s Toronto Comic Arts Festival in Toronto. Both Quid Pro Crow and Secrets of Jarrow (Book 1) are available locally at The Mercantile in downtown Millbrook as well as Take Cover Books in Peterborough. KG
