The Cavan-Monaghan Libraries warmly welcomes our returning summer student, Camryn Neilson!
Camryn has been busy planning a fun and educational kickoff party for the TD Summer Reads summer reading campaign. Tuesday July 3rd from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Camryn will be hosting a library scavenger hunt, a crafting station, as well as offering a summer snack.
Camryn has more exciting summer programming planned to help students avoid the Summer Slide, be sure to check out the libraries Facebook page to keep updated with all the fun summer events taking place. The library is pleased to have someone with a creative arts background to develop inspiring projects this summer!
Camryn is enrolled in the screenwriting program at York University, where she recently finished her first year. She has grown up in the village of Millbrook and is passionate about supporting the community.
Our Summer Programming includes are variety of reading, and craft activities including the TD Summer Reads program, a monthly knitting club, a cookbook club for foodies, and a Kids book club. One hour programs helping develop Kindergarten readiness skills will be offered at both branches following the regular Storytime activities.
