Residents are frustrated with the volume of recycling material that ends up scattered along township roads and in ditches on collection day since the elimination of bags for these items. Bagging is no longer allowed since the new contractor took over in November as they slow up the collection process. Some residents are restoring to taking recyclables to depots, such as the Transfer Station, to void this unsightly problem, which detracts from the appeal of neighbourhoods.
Policy Regarding Letters to the Editor
We welcome the opinions of our readers in the form of letters to the editor.
