Celia Hunter Cavan Monaghan Council approved the recommendation of Public Works Director Wayne Hancock to start curbside collection of garbage in the Cavan Ward on Friday, May 1, 2015.  Millbrook Ward and North Monaghan Ward both have curbside garbage pickup.

Council Votes for 5% Increase

Celia Hunter In a four versus one vote, Cavan Monaghan Council opted for a 5% municipal tax increase for 2015 which will increase annual property taxes by $27.60 per $100,000 of current value assessment (CVA).
