The Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society holds a major fundraising event every two years, and invites the community to come and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment. This year’s theme was ‘Step Right Up!’ with a carnival flavour, and everyone got right into the spirit of the occasion.

Wpd, the company that owns the FIT contract for Sumac Ridge, requested access to Wild Turkey Road as one of its proposed routes for the Sumac Ridge Wind Project. Wild Turkey Road is an “unopened” municipal road allowance.

his Saturday evening, the Church House will once again be hosting the Give-A-Hoot Café with special musical guests, The Walkervilles, and Benj Rowland kicking off the evening’s entertainment. There are a few tickets still available at the Pastry Peddler in downtown Millbrook, but seating is limited. Tickets are $15.
