Celia Hunter Pat Barr and her trusty and invaluable sidekick Jackie Franco are all smiles and enthusiasm as rehearsals get back underway after the holiday break, for this year’s Funfolk Theatricals production.

Celia Hunter It was 23 years ago, back in 1992, when Brion Aubrey, recently arrived from Alberta, noted an ad in a local paper recruiting for a therapy dog program and decided to find out more about it.

Celia Hunter At the first full meeting for the newly elected members of Council, the first delegation received was by representatives of the Save the Dam Mill Pond Group.

Celia Hunter Township Committees will begin meeting this month with new members in place, bringing some fresh energy and new ideas into play.

This past December, the Millbrook Chapter of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) decided that they would make a financial donation to the Millbrook and District Food Share instead of holding their usual gift exchange as part of their annual Christmas Dinner together.

With the holiday season ending, all Township residents are able to drop off their Christmas trees for free at the County Roads Yard at 1111 County Road 10, between Larmer and Fallis Line. The Drop off is open during daylight hours.

Celia Hunter Judith Graham is, by training, a scientist, by inclination an artist, and by definition, an explorer.

The Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society has recently produced a new Walking Tour of Millbrook pamphlet with assistance from a Community Funding Grant in 2014 from the Township of Cavan Monaghan.
