August 14 is the early bird registration deadline for the 10th Annual Cavan Hills Run being held Saturday, September 27.

Karen Graham Diane Rogers, long-time bakeshop and café owner of Doo Doo’s of Bailieboro came home with top honours at this year’s second annual Butter Tart Festival in Midland, which brought together professional and amateur bakers from across Ontario to crown the top tart.
