Kirk Hillsley led off the annual Earth Day celebration with a workshop designed for children and youth about outdoor photography. He showed his young audience some images and discussed styles and techniques, themes and angles with them before touring the nearby Community Garden and over to the nearby Story Tree to investigate shapes and textures in nature.
Glen Spurrell, amateur naturalist and regular columnist for the Millbrook Times, led the Earth Day walk along the Trails on Medd’s Mountain.
