The upgrades to the wastewater system for the Millbrook municipal water system and the expansion plans included in the Build Canada Fund Infrastructure project have reached the stage where the standpipe – or water tower – design requires decisions be made. Accordingly, Public Works Director Wayne Hancock brought a recommendation to Council on Tuesday, January 13, that the standpipe be dark blue in colour and display the township name and logo.
