Wendy Belisle is a health, fitness and rehab expert with more than 25 years of experience.
She works with people with any level of fitness, building strength, conditioning and helping those recovering from injury. Wendy is a certified personal trainer and certified fitness consultant and is currently working towards completing her Health Coach certification with the Primal Health Coach Institute.
She has managed gyms, worked in a physiotherapy clinic and in sports performance programs but now she runs her own show in a very-well equipped gym in the basement of her new home in Millbrook. Here she welcomes individuals looking to improve their health and fitness levels with personal training sessions, semi-private classes, virtual sessions and boot camps. She also offers corporate wellness sessions for managers looking to build a healthy work environment by helping their staff alleviate stress in the workplace and boost their fitness levels.
Private and semi-private sessions are an hour in duration and can be purchased one at a time or in a bundle for a discounted rate. Because her gym is so well-equipped, most sessions happen in her studio but Wendy will also provide one hour sessions in the client’s home, and will bring some of her transportable equipment to ensure she provides a variety of exercises for these customers.
Three evenings a week Wendy hosts Boot Camp sessions around the dinner hour. Each camp run for six weeks and includes two sessions per week. These classes are limited to a maximum of six participants in each group, enabling Wendy to modify exercises to each participant’s ability and to closely monitor their moves to ensure the proper for is being followed. Exercises focus on strength, conditioning, flexibility and mobility. In other words, classes provide a full-body workout. During warm weather months, these classes are held outdoors.
Wendy also offers virtual training sessions for customers in the comfort of their own homes, with 30 minute HIIT or 60 minute balanced sessions available.
