After considering their options, at their May 6th meeting, Council decided to stay the course with respect to rate increases for Water and Wastewater rates for Millbrook residents and businesses. For 2019 and 2020, rate increases will remain in line with inflation at 2%. The next rate study is scheduled for 2020 and will provide updated capital and operating forecasts, costing for lifecycle cost requirements, current volumes and customer profiles which will allow a more informed decision to establish water and wastewater base charges and volume rates for customers going forward.
