Peterborough Public Health (PPH) has launched a “Notify Me” campaign to make it easier for residents to find out when they can receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Residents can visit www.peterboroughpublichealth.ca/notifyme to sign up with their email address and indicate which group(s) they want to be notified about. When local clinics and healthcare providers are ready to serve that group in the coming weeks, Peterborough Public Health will send an email to those on the mailing list explaining how to book a vaccination appointment.
Residents may not have to travel far to receive their vaccine when their number comes up. The township is currently working with PPH to determine whether the CMCC might be used as a vaccination centre in Cavan-Monaghan. Nothing is decided, but things look promising
