Two Farmers’ Markets in September

To celebrate and enjoy this year’s harvest, we are once again running two farmers’ markets in September.  Look for more delicious, fresh local produce on Sunday, September 10th and Sunday, September 24th.

In addition to freshly picked vegetables, we have a full selection of locally raised and prepared foods – beef, chicken, pork and lamb, deli meats, goat cheese, farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, preserves, honey, maple syrup, fruit, wine, flowers/plants and treats for your furry friends.  New this year are a number of very talented, local craftspeople selling their wares.

Entertainment-wise, Jerry Jerome will be bringing the warmth and spice of the Carribbean to Millbrook on his steelpan drums on September 10th, and on September 24th Mus!c !ove B!kes with Eric Cardinal of Frog Cycles will be performing folk covers and original tunes on ukulele and piano.  A big thank you goes out to our local music sponsor Anita Huntley Professional Corporation.

The Millbrook Library’s famous book sale will run during both markets, while the StoryTree for Kids will continue to run on their monthly schedule, the next one happening on Sunday, September 24th with guest reader Jeanne Shields.

The market runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Old Millbrook School, 1 Duffern Street, rain or shine.  Come out and enjoy a great fall day at the market.  For more information, visit our website at www.millbrookfarmersmarket.weebly.com.
