This Summer at Our Libraries

It’s official summer is here, and so are the CMLibraries’ summer programs for students.

Students, you don’t want to miss Teens +Tech this month. The theme for July is ‘Sightseeing’, and our talented teen ambassadors, Locklan and Amara, will be taking you anywhere your imagination can dream up. Teens + Tech is a creative take on using technology, where participants learn all about iMovie, and various green screen techniques. You can check out Locklan and Amara’s promotional video on the CMLibraries Facebook page (be sure to like and share). Interested in participating? Save the date: Tuesday, July 2nd @ 4:00m. Suggested age range is 8 years old and up.

Party time! Students are invited to join us at the Millbrook Branch on Saturday, July 6th at 11:00am for the TD Summer Reading Launch party.

Drop by and get a taste of the programs that will be on offer over the summer, with the added bonus of treats and prizes. Make a commitment to summer reading and you’ll be surprised at the impact it can have on your academic, social, and personal life.

Plan to fill your summer with activities offered at the CMLibraries.  Both branches will have a variety of different programming available throughout the week. There’s something for everyone, from the tech lover (digital drawing, robotics, and coding) to the nature lover (build a wooden flower press, make a fairy garden, and DIY kaleidoscopes), we have you covered! Drop by either branch to pick up a summer program schedule, or download it from our webpage (cavanmonaghanlibraries.ca).

As always there are a variety of programs available for adults, for a complete list visit our webpage (cavanmonaghanlibraries.ca). Questions can be directed to Melanie at outreach@cmlibraries.ca.
