This year, thanks to the dedication of Millbrook South Cavan teacher Wilma Armstrong, we have seen the interests and perspectives of some of our local elementary school children expressed in their own words.
From school clubs, special events to hockey games, these students have taken the time to share their thoughts with us and offered us a fresh perspective on their activities for the fun of it.
While many are moving onto the secondary school, there is still a cadre of whom we hope will continue to share their thoughts with us in their unique and refreshing style.
A special thanks to Wilma Armstrong whose careful edits and direction have given the students a public voice in an adult world. KG
