The Millbrook & Area Garden Club plans summer outings to lovely gardens for the months of June, July and August on the first Wednesday of each month.
July is the month when daylilies start to put on a show, and so the Millbrook & Area Garden Club has arranged a tour of David’s Gardens on Wednesday July 4th at 6:30 P.M. Located at 673 County Road 28, Millbrook, David’s Gardens features Daylilies and True Lilies (Asiatic, Trumpet, Orienpets, LA Hybrids, and Orientals), as well as Iris, grasses, Cone flowers and Hostas. The Millbrook & Area Garden Club continue to seek nominations for President of the club. After dedicating 19 years as President of our Garden club, Wendy Olsen will be stepping down at the end of this year. Being an expert gardener is definitely not a prerequisite for this position.
