Dean and Amy Howley, of new venture King and Tupper, were one of the recipients of the grants from Peterborough and the Kawarthas Economic Development (PKED) fall Starter Company. They are pictured with son Dawson with one of the new items the couple has created using the tools they purchased with their $5,000 grant. In front is a climbing triangle, often called a Pickler Triangle, and a and two-sided slide/rock wall designed for children to play on; it builds gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence, along with many smiles and laughs. It has received Dawson’s seal of approval. In the background is a shelving item designed for another customer. The creative juices are clearly flowing!
