Parishioners prepared a variety of treats for the Christmas Bazaar.

After a hiatus of three years due to COVID-19, St. Thomas More hosted their annual Bazaar on Saturday December 3rd at Millbrook Legion.  Despite the downpouring of rain, residents turned out for the hot chicken soup and chili which have always been favourites.   The event included a variety of draw items plus many new items at their Penny Table.  The Raffle Table drew many shoppers with over 30 prizes available in the draw.

It would not have been a Christmas Bazaar without the congregation’s homemade bake items.  On offer were cakes, pies and a variety of cookies baked by the Catholic church parishioners. These were purchased by the many people that endured the harsh weather, and these baked treats were undoubtedly enjoyed.

The church members would like to thank many who made the successful day possible, including the Royal Canadian Legion which provided the hall, those who donated a variety of soup and chili pots, the donations of new to you items, gifts, crafts and prizes and of the baked items that make the Bazaar a special Christmas event.  Of course, they also want to thank all of the volunteers and the customers who made this a success.  To all, St. Thomas More Catholic Parish would like to say a genuine “Thank You”.
