St. Thomas Anglican Donations
St. Thomas Anglican Church presented cheques for $000 each to Cavan Monaghan Libraries, the Old Millbrook School Family Centre, and the Canadian Foodgrain Bank at their last spaghetti dinner of the year in November, 2019. At their annual turkey dinner in December, additional donations of $1000 each were donated to:
- “One Roof” (St. John’s Anglican Church, Peterborough);
- “Homeward Bound” (Peterborough Housing Corp);
- “YES” (Youth and Family Shelter, Peterborough); and
- “Habitat for Humanity” (Peterborough).
These funds were raised during the year as part of the congregation’s focus on housing and homelessness issues at events, including the Univox Choir event, and raised by St. Thomas’s Social Justice & Advocacy Working Group (Journeys Outreach).
