Last weekend the Cavan/Millbrook Softball League wrapped up its season with a tournament at
their home field in Maple Leaf Park. Despite a torrential storm the night before, conditions
cleared for the Sunday games and by mid-morning the sun came out and the wind died down
making pitches more manageable. This mixed youth softball association fields teams from T-ball (U6) to U18 which face off against teams from Bethany, Pontypool and Janetville in a
season that runs from the May long weekend until the end of July. To learn more, visit
