Maple Leaf Cavan FC Soccer club is gearing up for a very busy soccer season this year.
The club offers a fun recreational house league program to children born in years 2017 through 2008. The recreational division season is ten weeks long and runs from May 25th until the end of July. The club is expecting a roster of 1200 registered players this year and look forward to another amazing season.
Registration opens mid-February and the club expects spaces to fill up quickly. Sign up before April 1st to get the early registration discount price of $105. Each registered player receives jersey, shorts, socks, MLCFC ball and bag and a digital team photo. The only equipment the player brings are shin guards and cleats for teams above U4 levels. There are a few changes to the division this year, mostly to accommodate the growing number of players. The U6 mixed division will now be split in two, with U6 boys and U6 girls divisions. More fields at Millbrook/South Cavan School will be used by the U4 and U6 divisions, and the U12 division games will now be 70 minutes in duration. Due to low registration numbers, the mixed team division has been eliminated. See you on the field! KG
