Millbrook Community Care volunteers decorate Smile cookies at the Crawford Drive location.
This year, the Tim Horton’s annul Cookie Campaign runs this week, from April 29th to May 5th. For the third year in a row, the Peterborough locations have decided to donate the proceeds of this campaign to Community Care organizations across the Peterborough region. This means when you purchase a chocolate chunk Smile Cookie for $2 from one of the Peterborough, Lakefield, Bridgenorth or Curve Lake outlets, the store owners will donate the full $2 to Community Care Peterborough’s Give a Meal, Give a Drive initiative and its other important community support programs delivered through branches across the city and county. To purchase some of these treats from your neighbours, put your order in at Millbrook Community Care at 22 King St. East or drop into the Tim Horton location on Crawford Drive. Last year this event raised $13,181 for Millbrook Community Care. Get your order in and share some Smiles!
The public is encouraged to pre-order a box of 12 cookies by submitting a pre-order form available at www.commcareptbo.org to your local Tim Hortons restaurant. KG
