The Millbrook Chamber of Commerce hosted a fundraising called “Winter Sips ‘n’ Eats” last Saturday at the CMCC, where they raised $1,000 towards the Community Centre’s fundraising campaign. For a $5 entry fee, visitors could sample treats from Moody’s and the Pastry Peddler, browse some vendor booths, and purchase draw tickets for prizes from Tim Horton’s, Peterborough West Animal Hospital, and more. Boshkung Brewery was also represented, but there was no free beer in sight.
