The bell rings at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 28 at the Millbrook Legion Hall for students, teachers and staff who spent time on reading, writing and ‘rithmetic at area schools, past and present.

Of course, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the stories, witness the reunions, and take a look at the display of photos and memorabilia that trace the history from one-room schools through consolidation to the closing of what is now known as the Old Millbrook School and of Millbrook’s High School. Come and hear about the “up the hill, down the hill” years for Millbrook South Cavan, and the experiences of other area schools.
The Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society has an extensive collection of photos and yearbooks but “the more the merrier”! Please bring along your souvenirs from school and share your memories.
This gathering at Branch 402, Royal Canadian Legion will include a cash bar and light snacks. Admission is free for Historical Society members and by donation for our guests.
