It is a family affair… 2016 Chris Schier held the first annual Advantage Charity Golf Tournament. The profits from the tournament were donated to a local organization. Community Care Millbrook was that lucky charity. Consistently each year Chris has put on the tournament    providing a sizable donation to the community. Chris is able to call on the help from his family to assist with the tournament. His Mother, Pat and his aunt Trudy are both volunteers with Community Care in the Millbrook office assisting on tournament day.

Community Care is a local not-for-profit agency serving seniors and adults with physical challenges living at home by providing essential programs and services such as: Meals on Wheels, Transportation, In-Home Support and Community Services.

The tournament is supported by local business providing sponsorship, prizes and donations, as well as many golfers who come to enjoy the sport, the comradery and the knowledge that their game is helping others in their community. This year we have 18 sponsors with 80 golfers. The tournament will be held at Baxter Creek Golf Club on September 11, 2021. Please call Chris for further information 705 749 7425.
