You won’t want to miss this year’s Millbrook BIA Ladies’ Night which returns in August for its sixteenth season.

The action starts at 4 pm in downtown Millbrook, featuring specials at our local retailers as well as vendors filling the street.  Ladies (and gents) of all ages are invited to take the streets for an evening of indulgence strolling the downtown where there will be food, fun, shopping and entertainment for everyone.

To look and feel your best, drop in for a massage from Erin O’Ray or try a Reiki treatment by Patricia of Body and Soul Wellness, then have your nails done and explore some of the other special beauty services offered by Vivacious Beauty of Millbrook.

To keep your energy up, there will be a variety of food choices both on and off the street.  Members of the Millbrook Legion will be serving up homemade fries and coleslaw to accompany roast beef on a bun which can be enjoyed inside or on their patio behind the building.  Take a break on one of the patios at Moody’s Bar and Grill or Millbrook Mercantile or the Pastry Peddler; pick up a slice at Millbrook Pizza and get a cool ice cream or chocolate treat at Millbrook Valley Chocolates. On the street, indulge in a burger served up by our local Lions’ club.

Want a little insight into what the future holds or perhaps you have a question for someone who has departed?  Have a reading done by local Psychic Mediums Deb Station or Flo Burton.  Both bring a wealth of experience as practising Mediums to those seeking answers to their pressing questions.

Enjoy the vibes from local artist Doug MacKenzie from four to six pm, then wear off some of your dinner in some line dancing on the street.  Brave souls can take their turns with the mic later in the evening as they show their Karaoke talent.

This year will also see the return of a Ladies’ Fashion Show starting at 7pm and hosted by Studio 38 and featuring hair and makeup by Stacey Knight of Blank Canvas.  See the stylish, affordable women’s fashions available from our own local fashionista, Amanda Townsend.

Throughout the evening there will be a 50/50 draw, a Diva Basket giveaway and a variety of other prizes.

So come out and get your crown.  Make your way downtown on August 3rd for some fun and female bonding, and give a boost to the local economy without breaking the bank.  You will find a wide selection of products and services to inspire, a party atmosphere and friendly, familiar faces to help you enjoy a summer evening of food, entertainment and retail therapy in our beautiful downtown.  Festivities kick off at 4:00pm and run until 9:00pm.
