This national award-winning poster created in 2013 by Kelaiah Guiel hangs in a place of honour inside the doors of the Millbrook Legion. Every year, youngsters are invited to participate in the Royal Canadian Legion’s annual Poster and Literary contests. While schools are no longer active participants in these events, the contests continue to encourage youth of today to foster and sustain an appreciation for Remembrance Day and all it represents.
