Quilt Guild Enjoys New Location

Helen Blaskievich (at left) was the guest speaker at the January meeting of the Millbrook Needlers Quilt Guild, Introduced as a “prolific quilter, wonderfully talented, an inspiration”, Helen delighted an audience of 40 women with her stories and examples of her many quilts. For many years a committed hand quilter, she recognizes now the advantages of machine quilting, and is also accomplished at appliqué work. She is a member of the Kawartha Quilters Guild in Peterborough, and is featured at many shows.
