At the Public Budget Meeting held Tuesday evening, members of the public were encouraged to come forward with their thoughts and suggestions on what kind of tax increase they felt was appropriate after hearing the explanation for a proposed tax increase from the Director of Finance/Treasurer Kimberley Pope.
Kimberley Pope (at right) presented the second draft of the 2015 budget along with updates on direction from Council received during the Special Budget Meeting held a day earlier, to the 11 members of the public who attended the Tuesday evening session. The audience had an opportunity to ask as many questions as they liked and were able to hear responses not just from the Director of Finance/Treasurer but from a variety of staff members.
