Professional Team at Peterborough West Animal Hospital Expands Again

Nicole Hogle has joined PWAH

She may not look it, but Nicole Devries has been a practicing Veterinarian for ten years now. A Peterborough native, she did her undergraduate work at Trent and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Guelph. Since graduating in 2016, she has practiced in a variety of locations in Ontario, from Timiskaming to Toronto and returned home several years ago to raise her young family in her home town.

Moving from a busy emergency vet clinic, Nicole is finding the pace at Peterborough West Animal Hospital a bit less stressful, with regular appointments. Instead of a stream of trauma patients, her day is often spent addressing routine, non-life-threatening complaints. That being said, she has a soft spot for palliative situations where she is able to help pet owners make those difficult decisions by providing objective information with compassion, and helping to alleviate unnecessary suffering in animals.

Nicole joins a busy clinic staffed by six veterinarians as well as two others who pro-vide virtual appointments. For more information or to book an appointment, visit www.peterboroughvets.ca or contact the clinic at careteam@peterboroughvets.ca. Welcome to Cavan, Nicole!
