Al Lang. President of the Millbrook Agricultural Society.
Hello friends,
My name is Al Lang, your President of the Millbrook Agricultural Society. This year we celebrate the 174th Millbrook Fair.
As a local community group we would like to acknowledge that the Millbrook Fairgrounds are located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory, in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Nations for their care of and teachings about these lands.
I would like to acknowledge and thank the many volunteers and directors that meet monthly and put the hard work and planning that goes into putting on an event like this. Without their work it wouldn’t happen. The Millbrook Fair has been a staple in the community for years long before my time. We acknowledge past board members, presidents and volunteers for their work and commitment to a community event that offers something for all to enjoy in an ever growing and thriving rural playground.
This year’s fair is full of new and exciting events. Our indoor entertainment venue is back in full operation and will be open for three nights. Thursday night features a DJ led party in the barn, AMBUSH performs Friday night and new to Millbrook, Braden Simon will be our feature entertainment on Saturday. Millbrook welcomes back IMPACT motor sports with a Thursday night demo cross and a Sunday afternoon feature demolition derby.
The Executioner Sled team and OTTPA host two action packed full nights of truck and tractor pulling (Fri/Sat) along with our antique tractor pull Saturday afternoon.
Lawnmower racing, An Enhanced Midway, Petting zoo, Beef Cattle, Horse Show, Rabbit show, Kids day, Parade, and Homecraft show all return to the 174th fair providing a little something for all ages to enjoy. Our expanded food and drink vendors are sure to provide fair goers with all the carnival eats everyone craves throughout the year.
Spread the word to family and friends and make the trip to the corner of the village to enjoy a local tradition that is sure to leave you with lasting memories.
Join us at the fair this year and embrace the community that you have built.
Sincerely,
Al Lang President, Millbrook Agricultural Society.
