Peterborough Curling Club Invites Residents to Try Curling

If you are looking for a winter activity to get you off the couch and into the rink but are not comfortable on skates, Peterborough Curling Club(PCC) invites you to try curling. The club offers a league for every age and ability, including Learn to Curl running Thursday Evenings or Sunday Afternoons, Junior Curling on Sundays, with daytime and evening leagues throughout the week. All abilities are welcome. Looking for something to do this winter? Join the 500+members at PCC and try Curling!

Those who are unfamiliar with the sport are invited to participate in the club’s popular Adult Learn to Curl (LTC) program as well as a junior program for participants ages eight to eighteen. There are weekday and weekend leagues designed to introduce new members to the sport. Participants receive quality instruction in a fun, relaxed, atmosphere supported by a pool of knowledgeable, supportive and welcoming instructors. Equipment is provided with the registration fee. The Sunday program is open to participants of all abilities including those in wheelchairs.

Still unsure? Saturday Social Curling offers the chance to try curling one evening. A $25 fee includes equipment, a half hour of instruction for non-curlers followed by a one-hour game and asocial time after. Sign up as an individual, pair, team of four or eight.
