Pedicures to Go

Travelling suits Nancy Fallis just fine.  It has been three years since Nancy Fallis closed her Millbrook shop, Oasis Boutique, where she sold ladies’ clothing and accessories and provided manicures and pedicures in a separate studio.  It’s a decision she doesn’t regret, saying that looking back, keeping the store open during the extensive Covid restrictions would have left this energetic entrepreneur in serious debt.

When conditions allowed, Nancy decided to take the nail care part of her business on the road and skip the overhead.  She now provides manicures and pedicures to people in their homes, which has allowed her to keep connected with many of her previous customers as well as new ones.  She services residents in the Cavan Monaghan area as well as Bethany, Pontypool and Peterborough, arriving with everything she needs except hot water.

While Nancy still misses many of her customers, she enjoys the flexibility of setting her own hours rather than adhering to the operating hours required by a storefront, and finds her schedule satisfying.  Her customers miss her, too, but also miss seeing her loyal companion Finnegan who was a staple at the store.  At seventeen years old, he is showing his age but is still hanging in.
