MSC Kindergarten teacher Wilma Armstrong worked with the school administration and School Board project manager to meet the requirements for the installation of the first phase of natural play equipment in the forested area behind the school. MSC School Council has contributed $5,000 from their fundraising efforts for this project, which will create more outdoor learning spaces that ease some of the pressure of a student population that according to the School Board is currently 134% of the existing facility’s capacity.
