Applicants must submit a completed nomination form along with the appropriate fee along with the signatures of 25 eligible voters expressing support for their nomination prior to the deadline.  Fees for the three Councillor positions as well as that of Deputy Mayor are $100, with a $200 fee required for the Mayor position.

Election Day is October 22nd, and once again there will be no paper ballots used.  Residents will cast their votes electronically by telephone or internet, relying on a secure Personal Information Number (PIN) that will be mailed to households during the month of September.  The Voters’ List will be compiled by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) based on public records, and voters can confirm the accuracy of their personal information at www.voterlookup.ca.  The electronic voting process allows eligible voters to cast their votes any time between October 9th and October 22nd.
