Nexicom Steps Up with $5,000 Donation to Save the Mill

Nexicom’s legacy is rooted in its local community involvement and dedication in helping people. That dedication stems from the owners, John and Paul Downs, who exemplify the importance of family and community.

Both brothers have recognized the ongoing efforts put forth by The Millbrook & Cavan Historical Society to raise the required $90,000 to preserve the mill.

To help keep this momentum going, the brothers are pleased to announce that Nexicom will contribute $5000 (half of the outstanding amount) in support of saving Needler’s Mill and keeping it in the heart of Millbrook. This generous donation will leave the Historical Society only $5000 shy of their final goal.

With only 2 short weeks remaining, Nexicom would like to put out a friendly challenge to the community to raise the last $5000 that’s required to save Needler’s Mill from demolition.

Donations can be made in cash or cheque payable to The Millbrook & Cavan Historical Society at the TD Bank in Millbrook or you can also visit the “Save the Mill” campaign website at www.savethedammill.com

Let’s keep the mill in Millbrook!
