New Spring and Summer Programs at the CMCC

Join Fia, Ember and their friends at the CMCC to sail around the smooth, flat all-purpose flooring that hid under the ice surface all winter long.  Bring in your own roller skates or roller blades as there are no equipment rentals available.  The rink is available from 4 to 5pm on Fridays until July 14th, Saturday mornings from9:30 to 10:30 from May 13th to July 15th and three Saturday evening sessions on May 20th  (all ages) , June 17th (18+) and July 15th (all ages) from 7 to 9 pm.  Regular public skating fees apply.

Another popular sport returns for the spring and summer as Pickleball starts again at the CMCC this month.  There are six new courts painted on the area floor, which will be divided into 4 intermediate and two beginner courts.  The program will launch on a drop-in basis, but will shift to a booking system should demand require.  Balls will be supplied and there is a limited supply of paddles for beginners to borrow while they learn the sport.  Protective eyewear and appropriate court shoes with some tread are highly recommended.  A few experienced players will be on hand to provide some basic training to newcomers for the first few weeks.   The program runs Monday to Friday from 10 am until noon until July 18th, and Saturdays from 11 am to 1pm from May 13th to July 15th. Regular public skating fees apply.   Come on down, meet new friends, learn new skills and have some fun!

This summer the CMCC will be hosting summer camps for youth ages 4 to 9 in July.  Ice returns to the centre on Monday, July 31st.  Some slots are available for rent.  Contact the centre with your booking inquiries.
