Diane Rozon is ready to help customers at Cavan Designer Stone & Building Supplies.

Last May, Diane Rozon and Bill Wilks took over the Grant Drew Designer Stone business that has distributed brick and stone products in the area for more than 15 years.  The new owners plan to continue along the same path but with a vastly expanded product and service line.  They see great opportunities for this venture, both locally and in cottage country.

While they just took over the business in May, the couple has owned a home on Stewart Line for many years which they used as a retreat from their Toronto life.  A health challenge had them reconsider life in the Beaches.  Having completed an extensive renovation on their home, they moved to Cavan Monaghan permanently this year, saying goodbye to stressful commutes to work.  Now their business is just steps away from their home.

Both are actively involved in their new business.  Diane brings extensive administrative experience to the task of running the retail outlet located at the corner of David Road and County Rd. 28.  Bill has been a contractor in Toronto for many years, so he understands the customer and their needs and the products that best suit their needs.

Cavan Designer Stone & Building Supplies offers a wide variety of stone and brick products from many suppliers including Shouldice which was the original product line.  As part of the Sexton Buying Group, the firm now provides a broad array of construction and landscape products  including full lines of brick and stone, insulated concrete forms, fireplaces, windows and doors, kitchen planning and even barbeques and smokers to complete your backyard dream project.  They have current, environmentally friendly products including 100% recycled boards and flexible, light weight architectural mouldings.

In addition to free estimates and onsite measuring for all remodelling projects, they can provide the homeowner with a list of local qualified contractors they would recommend for their home improvement projects.

With their extensive experience on both sides of the service desk, they are confident they will be able to satisfy local contractors and DIY customers.   Drop in to their location at 2078 David Rd. where you will find inspiration for your next home improvement project, or visit their website at www.cavandesignerstone.ca.
