New Food Truck Opens in Cavan

Myla’s Little Munchies is a family business that just opened up their truck in the parking lot of Lush Cannabis in Cavan on Mother’s Day weekend, planning to open just on weekends until June when they expected the business to pick up to a level that would justify opening during the week.  However, once they opened, the customers just kept on coming.  It operates seven days a week from 11am until 7pm.  The menu is the traditional fresh cut fries, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, peameal on a bun and hand cut chicken tenders.  They hope to introduce funnel cakes in the near future.

You won’t find Myla serving up fries, however.  The truck is named after the owners’ late granddaughter who tragically passed away as a toddler.  In a way like Myla, the business keeps the family united.  Grandmother Judy Meiklejohn who does serve up fries, explains that it was a way to turn a negative into a positive.
