Wow a grand slam! On Tuesday June 21st the Millbrook South Cavan intermediate girl’s 3-pitch team showed excellent sportsmanship and skills throughout the day. Some grade eights from the team thought it was a great way to end the year before they graduate. Our team did an amazing job by winning all four of their games. During the playoffs we tied with Adam Scott, and Westmount beat us by two runs. The tournament was even run by Mr.Mac and he even umpired many games. Overall Millbrook place second. Way to go Millbrook! A news reporter from the Peterborough examiner came and interviewed some players. We hope to place first at next year’s tournament!
