While the main retail section of King Street in Millbrook may be in a period of transition, three of our relatively new businesses have caught the attention of shoppers in the Peterborough region. Three of them were awarded prizes in their shopping categories through the annual on-line voting conducted by the Peterborough Examiner knowns as the Readers’ Choice Awards. Pictured are Charlotte Clements of the Menzies House, Louise Bedford of the Valley Shoppe, and Millbrook Valley Chocolate shop owners Jackie Flamminio and Steve….. Congratulations, your businesses are drawing shoppers to the area, providing opportunities to other local businesses.
