Millbrook resident Gillian Webster has been selected for the U19 Team Ontario Field Lacrosse team this season. This is not the first time this impressive young lady has made a provincial Lacrosse team. In 2015, Gilliam was one of the youngest members of the U18 team and travelled to Scotland to represent the province at an international tournament.
This month Gillian will head to Halifax for the National Lacrosse Championship tournament. Last year, Team Ontario took top prize and Gillian is hoping for a repeat performance.
Gillian is graduating from Crestwood this year and plans to attend Brock University to earn a Concurrent Teaching/Physical Education degree. She has both topics covered, with her extensive athletic background and her coaching experience with girls Lacrosse teams. While not on the field, Gillian finds time to work at Peterborough Golf and Country Club. Congratulations, Gillian! KG
