On Saturday, members of the Millbrook Masons conducted a drive for Kawartha Food Share on King Street. Collecting cash with an extended fishing net to maintain social distancing, the group collected 350 lbs of food and $3,669.50 in cash and were very pleased with the response from local residents. Since mid-March, clients of the Millbrook Food Share have been redirected to Kawartha Food share in Peterborough, where the local organization is a member.
